U-verse on smart tv
Can't get U-verse to come up on the new smart tv. Other tv blew up. Set on HDMI2 and can get a picture of a canyon, etc., but when I hit okay nothing happens. I have called the help service number twice. First time, got a customer service rep, spoke briefly and then it went to static. Held on for 19 minutes. Hung up and called again. This time got an automated voice service that indicated I needed to speak with someone about my issue. It then went to static. Held on for 25 minutes and tried to contact via internet. So frustrated at the moment.

You're pressing OK on the AT&T remote? The same remote you were using with your previous TV?

Have you re-programmed your Uverse remote to your new TV?

Yeah, but the Ok button on the remote should turn on the Uverse settop box regardless as well as pressing the same button on the box.

It should, but I'm wondering if he's pressing the OK button on his new TV's remote.

Precision is important with the U-verse app, which requires use of the U-verse member ID. If a user is unsure or unclear what that is, they need to login to att.com and examine their profile.
Also, ATT TV no longer exists by that name and will confuse people that don’t know the difference. The new name is DirectvStream, and has its own forum.
And finally, your instructions are also incorrect insomuch as the Uverse app does not support Airplay anything.
