U-verse iPad App keeps crashing

I’ve been having the same problem for the last couple of weeks. It started with the last update. It’s not my iPad as I’ve contacted Apple support to check it out. My IOS Is higher than 12.1, I have plenty of memory, cleared the catch, uninstalled and reinstalled app so many times it’s crazy, powered off the ipad King that would help. It’s something with the last update to this app. I’ve contacted AT&T and was on the phone for more than three hours transferring me from one department to another. Finally got the escalation team and they got back with me the next day..wasn’t No position to work with them and they said they would call me back the following day. I had to call them back and again I was on the phone more than three hours and was disconnected three times. Did you ever get this issue resolved? Could you please share the secret?

We can shed a light on why you're having trouble with the U-verse app, disalvo.

 

This is a widespread issue with the app that we're working to resolve. We don't have an estimated resolution time right now, but we hope to have it back up and running soon.

I've had the same problem! It suddenly appeared when the Amazon Prime STREAMING icon showed up on my Home Screen. The Prime icon would load , however the UVerse CABLE icon would not load. 

Press the Verse icon moon the Home Screen, it disappears for a few seconds, it would NOT load and then reappear once again on the Home Screen.

I've deleted the uVerse Icon from the Home Screen. Reloaded and the same occurs.

Noted that WHAT'S NEW states that the latest version 6.6 "Resolves QP1005 error when streaming video." It also states " additional bug fixes, performance enhancement and security updates."

It did NOT say that the programers created a giant NEW BUG which will causes a CRASH upon the loading process! The UVerse program DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!

I've waited patiently for the Version 6.7 to appear which remedies a MAJOR CRASH problem which renders the UVerse app completely useless. 

Fix the problem ASAP.
