Uverse holdouts?
Are there any Uverse holdouts still out there? Been having issues with Uverse for 3 months with no resolution (screen skipping, picture freezing and pixelating) Seems like they have given up on Uverse, but apparently, Att TV is less service for more money (i thought it was inevitable but switching to ATT Tv makes no sense at a higher cost for less features. Im fully aware that hasn't been a post for quite some time about Uverse, but I did find a 3 yr old post describing the same issues. Thoughts or suggestions from anyone?

There’s a few of us left, yes. @chefdavid657
Are you using coax cabling there, because that’s what the symptoms sound like. Pixelation is something att could send a technician out to work on, but they’ll likely tell you there could be a service fee depending on what the trouble is.

In the last 3 months, Ive had 5 tech visits, 5 new modems and 4 new receivers and noone seems to be able to figure out what is causing the issue

No posts about U-Verse? Huh?
Also...if you can count something, the word "fewer" is the one you want. People really have forgotten this basic rule of English and it's frustrating.

How are your receivers connected to the gateway? Ethernet, WAP, or coax. Which gateway do you have?

Ethernet.Vip2250...recently upgraded to internet 50 (a suggested solution from ATT only 4 devices connected, just 1 receiver)...but that did nothing to resolve the issues

How many receivers?
Happening on all or just some or just one?
Happening on all channels or just one channel?
What about ON DEMAND shows, there are free ones to try, still same?
While the description suggests unit(s) on coax another possibility is flakey port.
Your on GREEN port on back on gateway )VDSL FTTN) not the RED port (FTTP)?

1 receiver, so just the one, happening on all channels.....dont use demand so I dunno bout that, neither the red port nor the green port is in use anymore as a technician said it was not needed so cables were removed.

If you have UVERSE IPTV service, you have a gateway... the gateway requires a connection to ATT servers... you must have a cable on one of the ports either GREEN or RED.
If you have a coax connection (BALUN) that has not been offered since the mid 2010 around 2015, 2016 was stopped. If your on a coax connection to the gateway we are back to this is a coax cabling issue.
Please post a pic of the back of gateway, if possible...

On the modem there is a green cable (like a telephone line) going into a green colored slot labeled broad band, the red slot has a plastic plug in it. The dvr (uverse reciever?) has red and green "slots" for an av cable?? but they are not in use) There is no coax cable attached, it has been suggested that problems are just like issues with coax cable, but no coax is being used (thats what advanced support said and basically scratching their heads, the latest solution is that they said that the dvr is high capacity and needs to be replaced, which makes no sense as the problem existed before they replaced with high capacity dvr and exists afterwards (4th new dvr) and the cables need to be replaced....again (ethernet cable and hdmi are both new) they also implied the TV is causing the issue (smasung less than 1 yr old0

Just an update...5th service tech just left, looking at everything online he found no errors but physically found a voltage error that tests did not show so he scheduled an outside line tech. Tech agreed that the issues I'm experiencing are very similar to coax issues, but don't have a coax connection.

If it's a voltage error, it may not be a thing AT&T can fix.
This is a total random guess, but is the AT&T equipment plugged into a surge protector or power strip? If so, plug directly into the wall. U-Verse stuff has been known to act wonky if not plugged directly into the wall.

Update: Still very frustrated with ATT, after last service visit by inside tech as well as outside line tech, problem happened almost immediately after techs left (10 days ago thunderstorm started and happened every thunderstorm in last 10 days, which is "normal' to me as it happens every time there is a thunderstorm) But happened again today with no thunderstorm. And yes, techs have already suggested plugging directly into outlet. Latest attempt to fix is using a different TV even though the current tv is less than 1yr old. For years the tv and uverse was plugged into powerstrip with no issue....but the consensus currently seems to be that the tv is causing the issue??? the current tv was in use fine prior to the issues that have plagued me for the last 4 mos.
