Uverse high def intermittent outage

We have been experiencing outages on our HD channels but if we go to SD channel it works. Tried the usual by doing number of reboots and it's still happening. Attempted to chat with support but couldn't get connected due to high volume. It is happening on both wired and wifi connected tvs.

Any suggestions?

We recommend restarting your gateway as this can correct any connection issues causing this error:

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your gateway or modem. If you have: 
    • An internal battery backup, remove it
    • DSL, unplug the phone cord from your modem or gateway
  2. Wait 20 seconds.
  3. Put the internal battery back in if you have one. 
  4. Plug the power cord back in. If you have DSL service, reconnect the phone cord.
  5. Wait up to 10 minutes for the gateway or modem to restart and your Broadband light to turn solid green.

Also, are you getting any error messages when viewing the channels or is it just a black screen? Depending on which one it is, it will alter hw we approach the issue to find the resolution.
