uverse guide on 20 interjected channels.
Why is Att putting 20 channels to advertise one new movie. EXAMPLE- Rent Spiderman Homecoming was placed in my uverse guide on 20 interjected channels. I have 3 TVs and it takes forever to get rid of them all.

Someone is undoubtedly writing a check. Please search for threads before posting as this has already been discussed.

What about the” U-Verse Message Center” that now appears on the channel beside the rent a movie ads?
I am in south Mississippi and ATT just recently flooded U200 with these two.
And if this is/was covered in another thread as suggested below I’d sure like to know how to find said thread.
I have searched for half an hour , and Mike’s comment was the first to mention the repeated channels.

Those threads were on the first two pages. The first link gives instructions on how to hide channels. You can hide any channel you want from SD duplicates (or all HD), unsubscribed channels, any channels you don't have interest in, etc.
Upon receipt of my boxes, I hid all channels I wasn't subscribed to, all religion and shopping channels, all SD channels where the HD channel existed and probably others.

I agree with the original poster. The addition of 20 channels for "Uverse Message Center" and another 20 for the Spiderman movie is just over-the-top crazy. I've had Uverse since it started and there's never been anything like this and yes, it takes forever to find and get rid of them all and even if you do, they keep coming back.

AT&T isn't going to help us. Spend a few minutes on what I hope is a solution.
When the very bad day happened back in April (https://forums.att.com/conversations/watching-uverse-tv/uverse-message-center-kids-choice-awards-and-free-preview/624b19b0c426b611ebbea3e0), I spent several days on the phone with AT&T "Support" jumping through hoops and being promised a quick resolution, which has never happened. Rather, there have been several other less-bad days.
Finally fed up, I've bitten the bullet and taken the time to create a Favorites List with only the channels I want to see, and use it instead of The Guide. I don't think they'll be able to insert their junk into that.

Why don't you just HIDE the unwanted channels on the Guide? I've got U450 but I've hidden sports channels, the shopping channels, the kids channels and the church channels. Oh and all those music channels.

Because of the frequency with which they have been adding additional junk channels.

The suggestion of favorites is an old...ahem...favorite.
I do believe it's possible to have multiple lists of favorites, is it not? Say you have you, your spouse and the kiddo...three lists for three people.
