UVerse freezing, skipping, etc

after a service call to replace intermittant equipment wireless receiver, uverse started having these problems, day, and time vary all over with no logical pattern.  The technicians recommended faster internet so they came back and supposedly doubled our speed on our land line and it's worse.  They did something in the basement and something in an local area junction box and said that is all they can do, blamed it on too many devices.  We had turned off/disconnected all possible devices to no avail.  The final straw is the interuption of Sat/Sunday football games.  Resetting the main gateway box (a 15 minute process) helps for about an hour or two.  Close to the end of my rope with AT&T Uverse.  Can you help.  We do have internet disconnections every couple of days, used to never happen.
