You can also use the Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool to run diagnostics on your service to pinpoint the exact reason why the receivers are down, and schedule a service call, if necessary.

It does not work. Finally got a tech to talk to. He ordered two new cable boxes. Tech could not figure out how to fix the problem.  I am pretty sure I will have the same problem with the new boxes, but what do I know? We'll see.

Gateway model?

HomeHPNA light on at gateway?

Link light on receivers?

The most likely is issue with coax wiring or connection however may also be a problem with the gateway. 

If suspect gateway, unplug all receivers, perform a full factory reset of the gateway by depressing and holding the reset button for 20 seconds. In my 5 to 10 minutes plug in only one box to see if works. 

Note factory reset will result in loss of any custom settings including name and password of Wi-Fi if have custom settings.

router and boxes were restarted over 15 times by me and the tech. never worked.
