Uverse App will only display Starz channels

I have Android Uverse app version 6.5.0.1.0390. It is not associated to my login as I am using primary login and my DVR and other set-top boxes are working just fine.

Frankly, I think AT&T is trying to force users off Uverse to Direct-TV. I won't be coerced. I have been a loyal AT&T customer over 3 decades. I am over 70 years old and it would be a hassle to do so but what I will do is change services completely. The lack of concern being exhibited by AT&T support is unacceptable. As usual AT&T first looks to user error as source of problem.

I’m having this same problem. It was working fine yesterday.

It seems to go in and out. I wrote to the AT&T Twitter help account but they were absolutely of no help. All they could say is it's a known issue and there is no time frame for fixing it. If they don't care the app should just be retired until it's fixed. I don't think they care about Uverse customers cause they're pushing for us to go to DirectTV or their other system. What is going to happen is I'm going to switch providers completely including my Internet. I've been with AT&T since the old DSL days before there was a Uverse. It's a shame I can't get better service.

Talked to their social media help; I was told they (AT&T) could not give me a monthly discount while UVERSE APP outage continues because it is not a service outage. Explained it is because I depend on being able to schedule reminders and set recordings using the app for times when I'm away from my home DVR. It is a "service" that is supposed to be part of what I'm signed up for. Since it isn't working, we should be given a monthly discount.

You can always ask for discounts elsewhere on your service. After discounts, I'm paying $10/mo for Internet 1000.

I did get a one-time credit but that's all. I don't think I can get a discount on internet service as it is separate from Uverse TV service.

If you have both...why not bundle?

They are bundled. It's one account one bill. But they're still separate services. There's the internet part and there's the TV part. Any discount is applied to each piece separately. Have you ever viewed your bill?

I have Uverse Digital TV (Fiber Optic) and Internet 500. Even though they're bundled on same bill any discounts are applied to each service separately. I have a discount on my internet service but I want the TV portion reduced due to the app not working.

Call in. Politely threaten to cancel. I'm getting discounts on my TV and internet.

I've done that, too. As I said in beginning I even did chat with social media help which is how got a credit to my Uverse TV but as I already said it was only a one-time credit. I am looking into changing over to Xfinity because I don't want Direct-TV which is where AT&T is pushing all customers now. At some point I know I'll have no choice if I stay with AT&T. I am constantly getting telemarketing calls about how I'm eligible for Direct-TV discount... yada, yada, yada. Thanks for the advice and good luck to you.
