Uverse app will not stream live tv

Getting the same problem with the app.  Started yesterday.  Stuck / no response when trying to load Live TV channel listing. Running app through Fire TV….

We suggest re-installing the U-verse application on your TV, as well as clearing any cache and cookies on your device.

Tried all (clearing cache, clearing data, uninstalling and reinstalling) and still not loading Live TV 

Same here deleted app reinstalled cleared cache and data and still does not load

We're aware that the U-Verse app isn't working properly with the Fire TV and are working on a solution. We don't have an estimated time, but you'll know it's been resolved once it starts working again.

Exact same problem! 

Uverse app for my Fire TV (Toshiba model) stopped working Saturday Oct 16th.  There is NO LIVE TV for the Uverse app.  After spinning for some time, the screen reverts to the Uverse app home page.

Ended up deleting the Uverse app; then reinstalled it and logging in.  Also rebooted AT&T Res GW and Restarted the Fire TV.  This spinning/time-out problem also occurs with my Fire TV stick attached to a conventional HD TV in another room.

I am able to get on demand programs via left hand column Networks, TV Shows, but nothing live.

Want to watch MLB playoffs on FS1 and TBS but can't do it without live TV!

AT&T tech support continues to offer "cookbook" type solutions which don't resolve the problem, e.g. clear cache, reboot your WiFi router/Res GW, re-install the app, etc.  We all tried those before posting to this community FORUM!

Dear AT&T Tech Support:

Please ESCALATE PROBLEM RESOLUTION SO YOUR UVERSE CUSTOMERS CAN WATCH LIVE TV ON THE UVERSE APP FOR FIRE TV.  IN PARTICULAR, WE CAN'T WATCH MLB PLAYOFFS OR ANY OTHER LIVE SPORTS/NEWS/DOCUMENTARIES!

Same problem, been like this since Sunday morning. Please fix ASAP!! 

I’m streaming football now using a fire tv in my home.   

I do not believe att allows viewing Uverse outside of its 21 state service region.

All those who reported this problem were able to watch Live TV on the app till a few days ago.  In particular, I live in CA (1 of 21 states where AT&T provides internet service.

As of this morning, I can watch Live TV on the Uverse app again. The live TV problem was evidently in AT&T's Uverse streaming servers- not in the Uverse app client installed on the Fire TV.

AS THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED, THIS THREAD SHOULD BE CLOSED!
