uVerse App sound - high pitched noise/tone

When I watch live TV on my uVerse App, the picture does play, but the sound is a high pitch tone.  This happens on both my iPhone and iPad.  I have rebooted both devices.  I have also rebooted my router and receiver.  Your Thoughts

We have a high pitch sound from our tv that is connected to the Att cable box. We bought a new tv thinking it was the tv. We were wrong....still the high pitch sound.

Our TV that is connected to the ATT cable box has a consistent high pitch sound. We bought a new TV and guess what...

It was not the TV but the cable. The connection that is wireless does not have a high pitch sound. After 5 years of this can someone please help us?
