Uverse app on firestick not working

My uverse app on firestick will not sign in. I receive “error authenticating” after attempting log in. The app looks a different color than it used to. I have restarted router and performed steps in the FAQs to no avail

Please verify that your device is compatible with the latest version of the U-verse app.

 

  • You may also need to try logging in using your AT&T email address instead of your account email.

Its a firestick, so compatible. If my gmail address works on my phone, would it for some reason be different for the firestick app?

Let's get your U-verse app working again, @Bridog!

 

Since you're trying to access the app through 3rd party equipment, the login credentials required may be different. We recommend trying to login using your AT&T email if your personal email doesn't work. 

 

The different icon color is likely due to the recent software update for the firestick.

I have faced this type of issue on firestick, but I restarted my device and open AT&T, re--enter my ID, and it starts working fine. You Should also try this. Thanks!
