TV STUCK ON ZOOM! HELP!
I have a brand new Samsung HD smart TV that I have had only 3 months. It worked perfectly then I accidentally hit something on either the Samsung remote or the Uverse remoter. It put it into Zoom. We have spent about 6 hours on the phone with both Samsung and UVerse trying to get the picture to the correct size. You can not read the channels on the left side....it cuts them off. Samsung says it is uverse....Uverse sent a new cable box. It is the same no better! HELP! You can not read what is recorded, cut off on left side....

Remember, you have 2 zooms...one on your TV and one using the Uverse STB.
To change the Zoom feature on the Uverse box, press the 'Zoom/Enter' button on the remote. Toggle down to 'Zoom'.
There should be instructions in your Samsung owner's manual addressing the zoom feature on the TV.

When you go to the Zoom options via the Uverse box, what is checked? Normal? Stretch? Zoom 1/2/3?

What "Zoom" setting is your TV set on?

The only other suggestion I can make is to set the TV back to its factory settings. If that does not do the trick it is the uverse box so then set the box back to factory setting by holding in the red button on the box for 10 seconds.

I had the zoom problem with my HD Smart TV too... I tried tapping the MENU option on my U-verse remote, choosing Options, then TV Screen Resolution. In the Screen Resolution options, I switched it to the Standard Definition option, and it re-oriented the way the screen displayed (so it all fits without chopping off one side). Then I repeated the process and switched it back to 1080i Definition (HD). It kept the full screen orientation! Thanks for the tips!

This worked for me. I couldn’t read to the left where options were (was so stretched) so looked on another tv. And hit options went to screen resolution and it worked perfect 👍 thank you
