TV outage
TV outage since last Wednesday night. After several unplugging and rebooting attempts, continues to show red x and 6 on the screen. After calling and reporting issue tech came today, says it is not my receiver and this is an att problem on the backend that is being worked on with no clear answer how long it will take to fix. I just searched TV outages in my area by zip code and it said there were none, so not sure what is happening. While I wait, guess I will look for other cable providers in my area.

So you're just gonna switch every time there's an issue? You'd be switching 2-3x per year!
Also: U-Verse isn't cable.
Call 800-288-2020 and ask for AT&T technical support. Request a box swap.
When the new one comes, take the old one back to any UPS or FedEx store. Have your billing account number ready and they'll do the rest.
