The sound bar will not raise in volume if we are connected to the U-verse box

The U-verse box will not go up in volume if the sound bar is on. The sound bar will work on streaming apps

Follow these steps to troubleshoot sound problems on U-verse TV:

Press Menu.
Scroll down to Help and press OK.
Select Information > Troubleshoot & Resolve > TV > Sound.
Select the Sound issue.
Follow the onscreen prompts.
