Showtime anytime won’t work

We have a subscription for showtime with our uverse package. When we tried to login we get an error message saying we do not have a subscription. I called att to verify my service and no one can help me. Should we call showtime for better service?

We would be happy to help you resolve your Showtime anytime subscription issue @Peetemssw!

 

We recommend resetting your password at AT&T's Official site. Resetting your password will re-sync and reauthorize your online access. 

 

Some additional things to check and try:

  • Ensure you are selecting the correct TV provider. AT&T has a few TV options, i.e. U-verse, Directv, AT&T TV, but it is important for you to select the correct on that you get Showtime through for subscription access.
  • Ensure you are putting the password in manually and not using a saved password, to ensure correct password is being entered.
  • Clear Cache/Cookies from the app
  • Uninstall/Reinstall App

Hey, @Peetemssw. We'd be glad to help with this error code you're getting.

 

What device are you trying to log in on? Have you tried using another browser? Since resetting your password didn't help, you may want to try Refreshing your Receiver.

I have same issue. AT&T is unable to help and tell me I need to engage Showtime customer Care. So I have and have sent them screenshots of the same error you get from my iPhone and says either something went wrong or you do not have a showtime subscription but I do and I can view programming from my LG WebOS TV.

I really think the link between Showtime and AT&T U-verse sign in is broken because the link can redirect to any or all other TV providers even AT&T DirectTv. For the love of God someone help to get this resolved already!

Make sure to use your U-verse member ID credentials.   There are many threads about accessing entitled content as Att has quietly made a change to require this specific ID or associated subaccounts.  You’ll need to locate these credentials in your profile on att.com.

Signing in is not the problem. The link is broken from showtime app to AT&T U-Verse sign in page. So Im not even getting to the U-Verse sign in web page on my iPhone to even sign in with my U-Verse member ID and password.

Check it out the error message when I click on AT&T U-Verse button.

Strange all other TV Provider button links work just fine to allow signing in.

The app may be retaining credentials of some sort.  Fully logout, nuke the app and start over.  You will fall into the same pitfall if you don’t use correct U-verse member ID.  Use the U-verse app to be certain your credentials are correct.

I am having the same problem.  Before I found this thread I spent 1 hour and 45 min on the phone w a U-verse rep. I finally had to say, “I over it now. Thanks for your help and I hope you have a great night.” it (Edited per community guidelines) to spend that much time on the phone and get absolutely nothing done.
