Here to assist with your 3rd party app concerns, @OklahomaWoman!
We see that Bally Sports is a regional sports network as opposed to a national sports network. Regarding your inquiry about it only showing local vs national programming, you would need to contact their support team as that is a 3rd party app.
Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
The issue you are experiencing regarding the app identifying you for National viewing and not for regional network may probably due to incorrect mapping / configuration of your MVPD login (cable provider login).
Please be aware that MVPD login information is managed by the cable provider and not by Bally Sports. Hence we suggest that you contact your cable provider to identify and rectify the issue so that your MVPD login allows regional network access instead of National level access on your MVPD login.
We suggest resetting the password for your U-Verse account as this resyncs the account and can correct any account settings that may be causing the programming error.
Hey @wiscopicker, we understand that you're having trouble with not being able to watch local sports. We're here to help.
Please answer a couple of questions for us so that we can better assist you.
What error message are you seeing when trying to watch local sport events? so we can determine if this is related to your receiver not being setup correctly.
Same issue here. "you are not entitled to view this content" when trying to watch my teams. When I look at account settings it says my tv provider is AT&T U verse / National.
Try using your password for your AT&T email and let us know if it let you sign in. Also, let us know what U-verse package you have so we can make sure Bally Sports is included.
Aminah and team, a lot of folks here may not truly grasp which ID they should be using to authenticate with apps like Bally sports. Do you have a document or link handy I can test to confirm the instructions are up to date?
I am able to use the same credentials as the ones for the U-verse app and I have full access to Bally sports content. Primary member ID listed for Uverse and att internet and associated with the BAN.

CalebP, we did that, and here is their response:

I am having the same issue and resetting the password did not help. I am mapped for National Access and unable to watch the local games.

@gr8sho when viewing your account/profile on the app, who does it say is your provider?

@dclem8
It correctly states AT&T Uverse. Furthermore the live stream also shows a Uverse logo in the upper right corner.
