Regarding the sale of U-Verse
I just had a sudden thought:
Considering AT&T still handles billing and technical support, I wonder if how many people are even slightly aware of the sale? Does the mass public still think AT&T fully owns U-Verse?
That would be an interesting question to survey the customers about.
(And it's a bit of a shame they never fully brought channel lineups into a semi-merged state. Reelz is still in U-300 for U-Verse, but the lowest tier for DirecTV and I still can't get Sportsnet Pittsburgh whereas DirecTV can.)

I'd guess that people don't care. They call who they need to when it needs fixing. They pay who they need to so it stays on. Outside of that... it don't matter.

Things like this are like a pyramid.
Out of millions of users, how many of them used the forums in their heyday? How many were ACEs? We had @oufanindallas , @texasguy37 , @skeeterintexas , @SomeJoe7777 (and his program he made probably saved me as a customer several times), me and probably 2-3 others.
I can't remember if @wolfen was an employee, but it seems like that's a "no" answer.
We're definitely the top of the "U-Verse users pyramid."
The higher up you go, the fewer people there are that fit.
