Recording issues

My recordings now pause don't play for a few seconds and when the recording restarts I miss parts of the program. Some shows,  once I start watching the recording it goes directly to erase.

Unplug everything.

Plug the gateway back in and wait for normal operations.

Plug the WAP back in and wait for normal operations.

Plug the DVR back in and wait for normal operations.

Plug the receivers back in and wait for normal operations.

If it still doesn't work, call 800-288-2020 and ask for technical support.

Like @baseballisback said, you'll want to troubleshoot your service. We recommend using the troubleshoot and resolve tool on your U-verse TV.

  1. Press Menu on the U-verse Remote Control.   
  2. Scroll down to Help, then press OK.   
  3. Select Information.
  4. Scroll to Troubleshoot & Resolve, then press OK.   
  5. Select the service you want to troubleshoot and allow the interactive diagnostic test to run and complete.   
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to resolve. Other options may include dispatching a technician or speaking to a Customer Care agent.

If this doesn't help, please let us know. We may need to get someone out there to look at your equipment.
