I am unable to connect my receivers using the U-verse app. Is there a resolution for this problem?

Hi @ronlcheek,
If you have not already, go to Ch. 9301 and press OK to launch the My Enabled Devices application, if you have not already. You will find more information on how to connect your app to the receiver.
If the issue persists, reset your modem and receivers. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the app as well. Once you reset the receivers/ reinstalled the app, try again.
Hope this helps.

Each time I try to connect my receivers in the app, I get a "Receiver discovery failed" error. I am definitely connected to the ATT wifi and gateway that the receivers are connected to. Any ideas what I might do to correct this?

I have the same problem. Samsung Galaxy S9. Android Pie.
Channel 9301 shows the receiver *is* enabled.
Receiver has been rebooted multiple times. Router has been rebooted multiple times. App has been uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times.
Airplane mode enabled then WiFi turned on to make sure I was only connected to Router's WiFi.
The App is functioning as expected on an iPhone 5 and connected to the same receiver. I do not own an iPhone but my neighbor does and we were able to get his device connected to my receiver.
What am i missing?

Have you found a solution? I am having the same issue with my S9+ since I did the Pie upgrade last week. I also confirmed ios devices are listed on 9301 but Samsung is not. I have a call in with customer service and have sent a.note.to the app developer.

Same as the others. Several Google Pixel models running Android 9 Pie get the same error when trying to discover my receivers. A Samsung phone running an older Android version did not exhibit the same behavior, nor did my Amazon Kindle. The issue only exists on devices running Android 9 Pie. The full error is:
There has been an issue communicating with the U-verse receiver. Please check to make sure you are on your U-verse Wi-FI.
Otherwise, please reboot your U-verse Receiver and gateway and try again. If this does not work, please go to www.att.com/uversesupport and search for
keyword "Enabled".

Adding insult to injury, there is no such website as att.com/uversesupport on which to search for "enabled."
I'm not quite sure how I managed it (perhaps the second receiver reboot plus the Android tablet reboot) but after many, many attempts, I finally have the remote control functions working on my tablet.
My phone, however, is a different story altogether.... It remains stuck at "Receiver discovery failed." 😞
