Troubleshoot your receiver to refresh it and try to get the movies to play all the way through. Press and hold the power button, located on the left side of the receiver, for 10 seconds. Unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet for 10 seconds is another option.

If the problem persists, try performing a non-disaster recovery on the receiver. This will keep you from losing any saved programs.

1. Unplug the receiver or DVR power cord from the wall or back of the box.

2. Wait 10 seconds.

3. Plug in the receiver and DVR.

4. When three white dots appear on the screen, then unplug the receiver/DVR again.

5. Repeat this process two more times.

6. Plug the receiver/DVR back in on the third time and leave in. Three white dots appear followed by a gear with a status bar at the bottom of the screen. If the Recovery screen does not appear, repeat the steps above.

You can also use the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool on U-verse TV to try to fix the channel and get the movies to play.

1. Press Menu on the U-verse Remote Control.   
2. Scroll down to Help, then press OK.   
3. Select Information.
4. Scroll to Troubleshoot & Resolve, then press OK.   
5. Select the service you want to troubleshoot and allow the interactive diagnostic test to run and complete.   
6. Follow the onscreen instructions to resolve. Other options may include dispatching a technician or speaking to a Customer Care agent.
