Paramount+ and Showtime
Paramountplus is now accepting U-verse credentials for login. Download the paramount+ app to your device and open it. In a web browser, go to paramount plus.com/partner and select AT&T U-verse to login.
There are a lot more movies and shows available now than on the deprecated Showtime Anytime app. Plus a lot more 4k and Dolby Vision content.
Of course, you must have Showtime in your U-verse plan for this to work

SHOWTIME is now Paramount+ with Showtime, as of January 8th. Your subscription will include Paramount+ with SHOWTIME East & West channels, 10 SHOWTIME multi-plex channels, TMC and FLIX, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME on demand.
PLUS, you’ll have access to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+ app at no additional charge!

I received an email from U-verse yesterday with the subject line “Your subscription just got plussed up!” It provided instructions on how I could get access to Paramount+ programming. I followed the instructions in the email, but when I supplied my U-verse login credentials at the Paramount+ site, I received the following response: “Sorry! Your provider subscription package doesn’t include access to Paramount+.” Earlier this month I got the same sort of response from the Discovery Channel Networks when I tried to get streaming access to the History Channel archives. I have an AT&T U-verse U450 account, which includes access to both Showtime and History Channel listings. Why is AT&T telling these sites that I shouldn’t get access to their streaming content?

Thank you for your response. The steps you recommend are the ones provided in an email I received from U-verse two days ago, and I followed them. The problem is that after I supplied my AT&T login credentials at the Provider's sign-in page, I received the following response: “Sorry! Your provider subscription package doesn’t include access to Paramount+. Please contact your provider for more information” and that's as far as I can get.
I have an AT&T U-verse U450 account, which includes access to Showtime, and the email that I received from U-verse clearly indicated that my subscription package should qualify me for access to Paramount+.

I received an email yesterday from AT&T U-verse telling me that because of my Showtime subscription I was now eligible for Paramount+. It included a link to take me to Paramount+ and register. When I hit the link it asks who my provider is I click on Uverse TV and it tells me “Sorry! Your provider subscription package doesn't include access to Paramount+. Please contact your provider for more information.” I spent over an hour on the phone with AT&T this morning trying to get it resolved with no success. Anybody else experiencing this problem?

Just to shed some light on your concern it appears that AT&T U-verse has merged with paramount+. As a result, Showtime will become Paramount+ with Showtime.
Not quite.
The Showtime app of old is no more. The new way to watch Showtime via an app is the Paramount+ app. If you subscribe to Showtime via a TV provider, you get the entire Paramount+ app.

I've seen some confusing and inaccurate posts from ATThelp, but that one might take the cake. And how did that get in as a Reply (vs a comment)?

I tried to sign In to Paramount+ using my AT&T login it doesn’t recognize my account but then when I sign up for it using my AT&T email it says I already have an account so I don’t know how I can get this corrected. Please help.

Your AT&T login will not directly work until/unless you've created an account in ParamountPlus with that e-mail. This should be possible either via the link ending in "/partner" shown in the OP, or by linking from your profile after creating it.

@FWJKJGY
Did you read the comment directly above yours? You will need to create a Paramount Plus account linked to your AT&T account. The easiest way to do that is the link shown in the OP.

I read the entire post. It says there is problem with authentication and wants me to pick a plan. It says to contact my provider
