Ovation channel closed captions disappeared

a) Those directions link to DIRECTV which we don’t have. We have U-verse.

b) I did mention in my original comment that we have reset the receiver as well as trying every closed caption option available.

We’ve had to watch on non-HD to get the captions back. Because they work on that it is hard for us to believe that it’s the fault of the channel.

We do know how to set up closed captions. It is only this channel where they have vanished and as I mentioned before we can get them on the SD channel but not the HD. Nothing that’s been suggested is anything we haven’t already tried. I guess we’ll just have to live with SD for this channel. It seems oddThat this should just happen

We are sorry that you cant get the closed captioning on the HD channel. Here is another troubleshooting step that you can try.

• go into menu settings
• closed captions
• disable the digital closed captions, and enable the standard closed captions

Seriously? I think that’s exactly what I said we did. Not for every channel because this is the only channel where we are having difficulty. We have resorted to watching or recording ovation only on SD. I was hoping for a solution that wasn’t something we’ve already tried
