Hello @Daisy4

That means that the cost of the program exceeds the spending limit that's on your account for Pay Per View ordering. The amounts are usually set at $200, $65, or $49.9.

We hope this answers your question!

Hi, @Daisy4!

The spending limit does reset every billing cycle, so you may have never encountered this in the past because the spending limit reset before being exceeded.

However, in this situation, you can temporarily increase the spending limit and finish the order by calling into 1-800-975-2621.

We hope this helps!

I have never encountered this before. I have ordered lots of movies in the past. You can check my account and see that for months I have ordered lots of movies possibly exceeding 200.00. And my current bill is paid and I only have 54.00 ordered so far on the next bill so I need it increased.

I am having problems finding out how to take my spending for on demand from a spending limit of 0 to something so I can buy something from on demand and I have been round and round on the phone with several departments. Can anyone one tell me how I can do it please.

We're here to help with your spending limit, peg1!

Just to clarify, what type of AT&T U-verse TV customer are you currently? Depending on your answer, you can fit into one of these spending limits:

  • Business: $0
  • Consumer: $0 - $150
  • Connected Community: Vary by contract.

If you are a business customer, we will need to direct you to the Business section of the Community Forums. If you are a residential consumer, we'll be able to help you here.

In the meantime, we suggest creating a new thread with the answer to our question, as this one is a few years old and subject to being closed at any time.

We hope to hear back from you!
