"Not authorized to access this website" issue.

Hello. In trying to login to multiple apps to watch live sports, I just keep getting the message: We are sorry, but you are not authorized to access this web site. Please verify you are authorized and re-enter your User ID and Password.

I've seen other pages where people are troubleshooting this issue but there doesn't seem to be an answer that works for everyone. I'm sure att has been aware of this issue for a while but is choosing to ignore it. Can y'all help me out? I'm just trying to watch basketball. ATT pls.

  1. What apps are you trying to use?
  2. Which sports channels are included in your U-verse TV package?
  3. What user id and password are you entering? (No, I don't want the actual values, just is it your U-verse account ID, or something else).
  4. When asked, are you selecting "AT&T U-verse" as your TV provider?
  5. Is this at home (i.e. on your home Wi-Fi), or away from home (i.e. on your Wireless Carrier network or someone else's Wi-Fi)?  Usually at home, AT&T automatically authenticates you based on being on your home's IP address.

Thank you for responding kind sir. But you've only provided me a list of questions rather than any possible solutions and that doesn't really do much for me right now. I will just continue streaming games through alternative means I suppose.
