My Uverse app has login error every time

I get "Login Error. The U-verse mobile service is temporarily unavailable.  Please try again later."  This happens on my iPad and iphone 7.  Both operating softwares are up to date.  I can login to my account online with no issues.  This has been happening since I got the service approximately a month ago.  Please help.

Yes, I finally got it working.  I thought I had "registered" my account, but in order to fully register your account you must create an @att.net email address.  I had gone through the registration, but when asking to create an email address, I said no.  At any rate, I did the registration again, created an att.net email account, used that to log in to the app and it works fine.

I have had U-verse for years and have an @att.net account. it just started not working about a month ago. so that can't be my issue.

How do I fix this problem?  Tried resetting and reinstalling app along with resetting password but nothing works.  Is this app still supported?

Apparently this is a widespread problem.  I've never had a problem but do now.  I think it's an issue on AT&T's end.

I concur with your conclusion that it was an AT&T problem......After ~8 hours, I've finally been able to login to the app. This was after several deleting and reinstalling of the app......

I'll just bet the down time had something to do with the "Nielson Measurement" notice that's popping up.

Instead of posting in a four year old thread, look at other recent threads where more up to date information is available.  U-verse is now enforcing use of the member ID which was something created when the service was first installed years ago.   This information should be easy to locate in your account and is also associated to your BAN, billing account number.   

Uverse also supports the creation and use of subaccounts for family members.
