Locked out of account?

I am trying to login in to the U-verse app on my firestick. I chose the wrong AT&T app first (AT&T Watch TV), and it had me repeatedly submitting my login, so when I tried the first time in the correct U-verse app it said I had too many login attempts and that my account was locked and my password needs to be changed at att.com to unlock it. I changed my password but am still denied in the firestick app. Looking for help to get in and set up.
