Normally the TV Guide will not list "CW" and as mentioned, you would have to search for the affiliate which we do not know for all areas. The best option, search using the guide to find the shows you are looking for.
It depends on where you live and who owns the station. We have the CW here in the Dallas market. There are networks that are still in a stalemate with AT&T regarding re-transmission rights.
Assuming there is actually a CW channel in your broadcasting area maybe that channel couldn't come into agreement for re-transmission on uverse. If the channel is too far from your location uverse may not consider it "local" and not carry it.
If I did the research right your WRBJ channel 34 is the closest The CW station. And it isn't that close. But you might be able to get it with a descent OTA antenna.
According to the CW-TV website, The CW is carried in zipcode 39056 on WJTV and is a sub-channel (12.2). Uverse does not carry sub-channels in most markets.
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

WJBW appears to be a Florida radio station advertising for a local to them.
I checked your zip on tvfool.com. You are in a "bad" location when it comes to local tv stations even using an antenna. It looks like CBC, NBC, and ABC may be considered "local". CW is about 117 miles away and definitely not local, not even for an antenna.
Below is the tvfool.com data for your zip assuming an antenna 15 feet above ground level.

It is helpful if you tell us where you are and what the station ID is.
For example, here in the Dallas market, our CW affiliate (KDAF) is channel 9/1009 on the Uverse guide but channel 33 over the air.
Every market is different, hence the question of location. We get the CW but some markets do not. We got our CBS affiliate back but some markets did not.

Also, if your local CW is a digital subchannel such as 5.2 or 9.2, U-Verse will most likely not have it, as they generally don't carry subchannels in any market.
Couple of points. The CW is a significant network and here in west palm is broadcast OTA as 34.1, so not a subchannel. Call letters are WTVX. Uverse carries it as channel 4/1004.

Hi all,
We see this thread is getting a lot views. As @skeeterintexas called out, some areas are not able to get the CW.
If there is something particular you want to watch, we recommend checking the guide on your TV and searching for that show.
Normally the TV Guide will not list "CW" and as mentioned, you would have to search for the affiliate which we do not know for all areas. The best option, search using the guide to find the shows you are looking for.
Hope this helps.

What is your zip code?

I just had U-verse installed in the Clinton, MS area. I was trying to watch the Flash and discovered The CW channel is not in this area. Any idea why?
