If you are missing a channel, please click here.

Go to http://www.att.com/olam

I was able to claim a $20 credit off my bill. This is by far more than one month worth of credit for missing a channel. (What Tegna charges AT&T varies by market.)

For me, this is about two months free of ALL my local channels, not just my one owned by Tegna.

In many areas of the country, you can click "Interactive" or "Go Interactive" on your U-Verse remote for the "Locast" app. This should get your local channels.

You can also get your channels for free with an antenna. These will be uncompressed, as compared to any TV provider.

CBS has an app called "CBS All-Access" which has a seven-day free trial. This would only work if your CBS affiliate is affected.

NBC has their Peacock app which has shows which are usually posted a day or so after they air.

I logged into my account but could not find the option for a credit.

Could it be that they're only offering that credit to certain markets?

Do you have a Tegna station in your market? I do.

Yes.  WFAA (ABC) in the Dallas market is a Tegna station and MIA.  I'm seeing the lovely message in place of programming.

I don't watch ABC that much since DWTS is over (!!) but I'll take $20 if I can get it.

Try calling in. You never know what they'll give you. It all depends what your standards are. They've offered me $20 off internet for a year ($39.99 for Internet 1000) and money off TV.

$39.99 for an internet connection which includes HBO Max, plus an additional $20 off for one month? Score!

I didn't mention this in my original post, but www.tvpromise.com has information about the situation.

It's come to my attention that Locast has disappeared from U-Verse, but it may still be available on devices like AppleTV, Firestick and Roku.

Unfortunately, nobody here knows when Tegna will resume providing a signal to AT&T.

Switching providers won't help, especially if you like your regional sports teams. All providers have to negotiate. The only streaming providers with regional sports channels are AT&T TV and AT&T TV Now.

Comcast may even lose channels. Dish has lost plenty recently, including local channels.

Also, if you do drop U-Verse, you may to pay to terminate a contract and you'll never be able to go back to U-Verse.
