HGTV channel on ROKU not working

I am unable to access all the locked content on this channel on my ROKU even though I have access to this channel as part of my paid subscription. I login through the app authenticate the provider, I get signed in just fine but then I can’t access any episodes. Has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix it?

Let's see if we can get you back to watching your shows, @D_N.

 

We suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the HGTV app on your roku to make sure that there are no current updates that you have missed.

 

If there are no updates, you can reboot your gateway and then reboot your receivers which will reinitialize everything.

 

Let us know if this works.

thanks for your response but no, rebooting the gateway did not fix my problem.

I can confirm that HGTV GO is working on Roku.

You might try un-installing the app and re-installing. If that doesn't work, call Roku.

I did call ROKU, they said the trouble must be with my TV provider. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the channel on ROKU as well as logging in and out several times to no avail. There has to be some way to fix this it was working just fine until about a week ago now none of my channels allow me to access locked content I should have access to with my Uverse subscription.

Have you tried resetting your password? This will help resend the authorizations to your credentials. The email password is the same one that you use to login to your account.

 

We do not have control of what content they put on their app.
