If there's breaking news of any sort, the affiliates have the obligation to cut into network programming.

It’s actually either a 30 minute news broadcast or hour - not sure yet.  It’s actually called Atlanta News First - not breaking news, just the normal daily news/weather,

At this time there are no reported TV broadcast outages in your area, if the news report have not been finished. You can reboot your U-verse receiver by follow these steps:

• Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds.
• This takes 5-8 minutes and will impact any DVR recordings in progress.
• If you have multiple receivers, reboot your wireless gateway by unplugging it from its power source.
• Wait a few minutes, then plug it back in.
