"Failed To Schedule Show" Error in U-verse App.

I'm trying to schedule shows in the U-verse app, and it always pops up a red message that says "Failed To Schedule Show". How can I fix this? Sometimes I need to record things when I'm not at home.

Thanks for reaching out to us here, we'd love to help you here! Have you reset your receiver/DVR? We suggest that you unplug the receiver and DVR power cord from the wall or back of the box, wait 10 seconds and then plug in the receiver and DVR.

How  am you reset if doing remotely? My app is saying failed to record too

Hey @acooling, let's look at your U-verse together.

 

We recommend using our troubleshoot and resolve tool. You can even do it on your TV. It'll diagnose any issues found, and help walk you through how to fix them.

  1. Press Menu on the U-verse Remote Control.   
  2. Scroll down to Help, then press OK.   
  3. Select Information.
  4. Scroll to Troubleshoot & Resolve, then press OK.   
  5. Select the service you want to troubleshoot and allow the interactive diagnostic test to run and complete.   
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to resolve. Other options may include dispatching a technician or speaking to a Customer Care agent.
