ESPN App not working AT&T U-verse

My family has U-verse at home. When I'm away at school I use the ESPN app on a firestick and it's always worked until recently no matter what I do the app says I'm logged into TV provider but every time I click on something it says "This channel is not part of your TV package."

I've tried logging out and back in but no go. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, although I don't think it's ever really deleted, Amazon just moves it to the cloud and puts it back when you want to download it. The only time I use it is during football season but I'll be at school in January and I'd really like to see the bowl games. Any help would be appreciated.

We're here to help get you logged into your application, limberlost158!

Just to clarify, are you logging in while using your U-verse Member ID? This is different from the U-verse Access ID, and should be used when logging into any 3rd Party Applications.

Let us know. We hope to hear back from you!

I don't think you understand. The app says I'm logged in. There's a big AT&T U-verse logo at the top of the start screen on the app. When I click on a football game and multiple viewing options come up such as regular or skycam the tags say "logged into tv provider." When I click on one it says it's not part of my tv package. It says this for everything. There is literally nothing I can watch. This message comes up for everything. I have logged into the app the same way I have for the last two years and the app says I'm logged in the same as it always has. The not part of tv package just suddenly started coming up for no reason. There was no precipitating event. It didn't occur after a new log in..... it just started out of the blue. I'm not certain if the problem has something to do with ESPN or AT&T but the only instances I found with Google searches with the identical problem were people that had U-verse. In short, I don't think the password is the problem. It's the same one I've always used and the only one I know anything about.

Any further ideas?

I went to the DM and was told a tech expert would help me shortly. Well,26 minutes later I gave up waiting and left my email address. Nothing. So, no, I wasn't helped.

If you need help, try doing some more reading here because there is no lack of discourse on this issue.

TL;DR figure out what your Uverse member ID is and use those credentials.   Make sure in your profile to unlink the account from other emails in att.com.  It is up to you to correctly use the correct key to unlock access.
