Channel Notices

Not sure where the conversation about Channel Notices disappeared to, but now none of my receivers show any Channel Notice information when accessing thru the Help Center Channel 411/1411.

Thank you for reaching out @ifonly01. We hear you, and we'd be happy to assist you with the U-verse programming.

We suggest you try the Troubleshoot & Resolve app on your TV which is designed to resolve service, and connectivity issues. This tool also assists with common tasks such as programming your U-verse remote control, configuring, and managing your home network.

After the troubleshooting, Restart your TV receiver by holding the POWER button down for 10 seconds then pressing it again to restart. This process takes 5-8 minutes and will impact any DVR recordings in progress. Restart your Wi-Fi gateway by removing the power cord for one minute then plugging it back in.

We hope this helps!

If the problem still persists, please reach us via DM(Reference: The chat icon in the top right corner, next to the bell icon)

Did all that. Still not getting any Channel Notice info thru any of my receivers. Looks like there was a notice dated Aug 25 but I have no visibility to it or any other info. It shouldn't be this difficult for Uverse to update their menus properly so that customers can be kept updated. Uverse sure doesn't have any problems removing channels from being viewed.

Was just on the phone with Tech Support for awhile.  They have no idea what is going on or how to get Channel Notice information to appear under the menu items for Channel Notices on Channel 441/1411. Again, I give up.

Bottom line…channel notifications were on 411/1411.  They are no longer there.  No one knows where they went, why or if they’re ever coming back.  End of story.  🤷‍♀️

@skeeterintexas so you cannot see any Channel Notice info either? I am just trying to determine if this problem is unique to me, or systemwide.

411/1411 now shows the “Uverse Help Center” label.  Awhile back, yes, there was a different showing but it’s gone.  I’m 99% sure this is true for everyone regardless of what @ATTHelp says.  🙄

Where my local WB channel was now has notification about the Nexstar contract expiring.

As Elsa would say “Let it go, let it go….”
