I had an issue Monday night where it would not completely load. After a few hours it started working. I'd suggest trying again in a few hours.

Yes, I agree this is a real problem. It appears to have mostly cleared up now.

For the first hour it would keep trying to logon with no message. Now it says "temporarily unavailable...please try later." So I guess that it just down for the time being.

Same here. Haven’t been able to log in for 2 days. Just times out. I’ve rebooted my iPad, then even deleted/reinstalled the app, but nothing. Sick & tired of att’s lousy service.

Same here, haven't been able to log into my Uverse app for months now. I also can't get support from ATT to help fix. Did you have any luck?

I have been paying uverse for years and had no problem with the app until about 2 months ago. I use my log in name and password but says my name/account does not exist. Yet I log into my att with the same account to see billing, services, etc.
Now, constantly on phone with the "wrong" department, only billing. Today, we changed the 4-digit pin that you must have to get tech support and when I call 877-267-2859 and try the pin it will not accept, says it is not associated with account, will not provide a person in tech to speak with. I am sooooo beyond upset but have no options in my location. Also, I am a major loyal ATT customer with business wireless. Called billing again, they try hard but can't help. I AM LOCKED OUT of my streaming uverse. PLEASE help!!!

I have been unable to log in to my U-verse app all week. Works fine on my iPad, but not on my iPhone. I keep getting message "Invalid U-verse Member ID or password". I use forgot U-verse ID and receive a text confirming the same ID as I used! So I try the forgot password and set a new password. But get the same error message...
Is anyone from AT&T paying attention to this issue? What terrible customer support!

Ditto here too... Unable to login to Uverse app on phone for last few months.
tried all of the usual reload app, reset passwords, etc...
Have not contacted support but posts to this forum indicates its a wide spread problem.
I appreciate that most any service cannot have 100% uptime but this is odd.
ATT should be offering some kind of bill credit if this is going to take months to fix.

What worked for me: create a new sub-account. The new sub-account is a new email account. You will then use the new email+password for the app login...
On a desktop/laptop/tablet login to att.com using your original primary ATT email address. Then create a new sub-account.... Example: if your primary email is [email scrubbed], you could go with [email scrubbed] or something easy to remember.
This got the uverse app working again for me after being locked out for two months.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my android phone as a precaution before trying the new login.

I have been having the same problems for weeks and have contacted ATT several times but they are no help. I know I am using the correct U-verse Member ID and password. I am able to login to my ATT app and ATT website but not Uverse app which I have been using for years. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app several times, restarted my phone, changed my password, cleared my cache, downloaded the latest software upgrade. The only thing I see left to try is create a sub account but when I try it says I can't do that because I don't have ATT phone or internet. I am beyond frustrated with this!

No, I have Cox Communications but I have had ATT Uverse Tv for years and have used the app for years. I also have ATT Wireless.

There are certain features of U-verse TV that do require an AT&T Internet connection, for example this app lists it as a requirement for "Remote Control: Control your home TV receivers with the remote control feature.†" Another example is the Music Channel.
I would have thought that it was a requirement for the app to work at all, but the app listing specifies it as required only for this function. That's not conclusive evidence, but if you have been using it without an AT&T Internet connection, that says it's not required either. Unless they've just decided that it is required.

When you’re in the att.com website and the profile management area, you see the Uverse member ID listed and that’s the one that’s failing with the app, yes? Do you see an option to unlink email addresses ? If yes, does it work?
While I’ve known it’s possible to retain U-verse TV alone, you’re the first to come forward with this problem. If you’re unable to get past the issue with our help, an escalation will be needed.
