AWE Channel (1147) there 2 days ago gone now!
I've had U-verse (U450) over 12 years now with access to AWE TV (Channel 1147), as of yesterday had message saying it was no longer available. What happened to channel? The 450 channels have never been "450 different channels" because the same programs appear on several channels and now losing a program that was only available on one channel! What's going on? Time to move on from AT&T?

Let's keep you watching your favorite channels, yo_man0101.
We are sad to see that channel go, but AWE has been removed from the channel line up, as of April 4th.It was removed from our sister services of DirecTV and DirecTV Stream as well. We are not able say why it has been removed. The is an alternative though.
You can always stream AWETV directly from the content broadcaster themselves, by using their applicable app or by going online to AWETV or KlowdTV.

It's simple. A contract wasn't renewed.
AT&T (and all other providers) have zero control over programming decisions. If a show is on several different channels on U-Verse, guess what the other providers are showing?

AWE TV is one my top 3 favorite channels I watch everyday!!! I’m highly upset the channel is gone!! Why? And if it’s contract issues, get the negotiating going to get it back!!

I've had problems with Direct TV for years but this takes the cake. The only reason they dropped AWE is because it was affiliated with OAN news and Lord forbid we have at least one (Edited per community guidelines) news outlet. I have 200 channels and most of them (Edited per community guidelines). TV was always on AWE. By far, better travel shows than any of that drivel on Travel Channel which is one of the worst stations I get. Guess I could stream AWE or... AT & T could force Direct TV to bring it back! You're the boss AT & T and I know you paid 10s of millions to bring OAN and AWE into the line up. Everyone here wants it back. Do what your customers want and bring back AWE!!!!!! If you want to get rid of a fake news outlet than toss CNN. I've been a customer for many years. Now I'm wondering if it's worth it.
