Audio Problem

I have 2 boxes and on one box only I do not get audio on one channel.  I have checked everything even hooked the bad box up to another TV and still no audio on only one channel, so it has to be the cable box.  Why would a cable box not have audio on only one channel?  My other box when switching to that same channel it has audio.
