AT & T U-verse App Not Working

I was logged in and watching on my mobile device a few days ago.  My screen went blank in the middle of the show I was watching, and I haven't been able to get into the app ever since.  It keeps saying, "Login Error - The U-verse mobile service is temporarily unavailable.  Please try again later."  I have restarted my phone (Apple Iphone 12 Pro) and uninstalled/reinstalled the app several times.  I keep getting the same message.  Help!!!!

I am not home, wintering in FL, so am trying to watch from my mobile device.  I don't know if U-verse is working at home.

U-verse is a geofenced serviceand won’t work outside of its 20 state region and does so by checking IP address.  Florida is one of those 20 states so I would have expected it to work.  Have you tried in another location like a Starbucks or even just over cellular service?

Yes, I have tried using just my cellular service and have also tried wifi at several other locations.

Okay, let me back up a bit.  Are you able to successfully login to the app so you can view the guide and recordings and such?  I interpreted it as you were logged in but perhaps you're not.  If you cannot login, then you've been bitten by a recent happening where prior alias credentials are no longer granting access to the app.  If this is the case, you will need to:

Validate your Uverse member ID on att.com profile management area.

Unlink your Uverse member ID from all other emails.

Optionally create and use a subaccount (also managed in that same profile area).
