Will DirecTV correct the network congestion issue soon?
I see many customers in the forums complaining about this network congestion issue, it is 100% an app issue as other streaming services are working without issue. After checking for updates, resetting all systems the problem persists. I really have enjoyed using DirecTV but it is basically unusable at this point. The constant freezing and horrible resolution has to be corrected.

This is ridiculous. Directtv is expensive and constantly dropping the shows. It is unacceptable. I am going to have to explore other options.

Same issue. 2:00 a.m. and I get the message that there’s a congestion issue. Seriously?? I try clearing the cache on every app, resetting directv app, resetting the firestick and even reloading the firestick, only to have it work for 20 minutes and then start freezing and buffering again. It is very irritating. Even buffers on playbacks. I’ve tried everything and nothing fixes the problem longer than 20 minutes.

I use both Fire Sticks and Roku's with the service. No problems at all using the app. Sounds more like an environment issue more than the app. If the app was the issue, then everyone would be complaining.
