Weird 10-15 second "rewind" or backup issue on demand streams

I'll be watching an on demand episode and suddenly the picture will jitter and it will back up like 10 or 15 seconds and continue playing. It'll do it every minute or so once it starts. Super annoying. Backing out and going back in doesn't seem to help. I'm on a Samsung Frame TV 2022 running the app thru Samsung native dashboard on the TV.

This has happened a few times now.

It's done it with RuPaul episodes on demand and also Chicago PD and Fire

The Samsung DirecTV Stream App is junk. You'll have a much better experience with a $30 Roku or FireStick.

Everything is up to date, that's not the issue.

@litzo well, if that's the case I'm glad it's just a trial because I'll cancel. I'm not paying for a service that I need to buy a different streaming box for. I have a frame TV because I don't want all the extra junk. C'est la vie.

It is good to have options. Sadly, the Samsung DirecTV Stream has never been very good. Native TV apps are always at a disadvantage for regular updates compared to popular stand-alone streaming devices.
