Using DirecTV Stream with Amazon Fire Cube

I am new to both DirecTV Stream and the Amazon Fire Cube.  I've been playing with it, but there are a few things I can't figure out.  For instance, if you are watching live TV and you go to the guide, how do you get back to the show?  I can hear the audio, but I can't figure out how to get back to the video, aside from finding that show on the guide and clicking on it.  That's pretty inconvenient, there must be a better way.  Thanks!
