Unable to watch live tv in real time - only option is to restart show

I've looked at every possible solution and tried all the restarts, web browser, connection, confirmed devices, etc. but can't watch live tv.  The tv with the equipment from Directv Live Stream works fine.  But my other TVs will not allow us to watch live tv in real time even though it shows the green line and says "live"  I only have the option to restart.  What am I doing wrong?  Or is this "the catch" since it was such a better deal than my previous service?
