Unable to delete unwanted recordings on Samsung tv.

Last weekend we purchased a Samsung tv and downloaded the DIRECTV app. We now have several recordings of 911 and 911 Lone Star that I didn’t set to record. I’ve tried several times to delete them but they won’t go away. The only show on the tv and not on the Roku stick or my iPhone. How do I get rid of them?

The native TV apps, like Samsung's, are not very robust.  You'll have a much better experience with a dedicated streaming device, like Roku, FireTV, Apple TV, or DirecTV Stream.

We had the same problem, we actually had to go into the tv settings, find the cable/satellite set up and do a software update.  There was no other place that showed us there was an update.  We had already done every type of troubleshooting to no success.  Our new recordings weren’t showing up and when we’d do a search and find that show we’d get a message that it was already in our playlist.  After we did the weird round about software update the issue went away,
