Unable to connect to DIRECTV STREAM on any device without vpn
I am currently unable to connect to DIRECTV STREAM via any device in my house. Not through the apps on my devices or through the web (computer/phone). I am able to connect if I VPN or use my cell phone (off wifi).
- Phone App can:
- access streaming content when on wifi - I think because I did it without wifi at one point (trouble shooting) but not entirely sure
- Phone App can not:
- when on wifi access any of my account information (e.g., Account > See Account Detail) - I get the DIRECTV "Something's went wrong" error
- PC can:
- access everything when on VPN
- PC can not:
- sign in at https://streamtv.directv.com/. As soon as I click it I get the DIRECTV "Something's went wrong" error
- Tablet DIRECTV App / TV (via DIRECTV app on google chromecast)
- Tablet app says "an error has occurred" when trying to connect
- TV (via app) says care code: 902
ISP = Xfinity
Router = Nest Wi-Fi Pro
This is the only streaming service I have this issue with. I have never had any issues with (or had to make adjustments to) netflix, prime, hulu, max, etc., etc., etc.

Care Codes are DirecTV Satellite error codes not DirecTV Stream error codes. Are you or have been a DirecTV or AT&T subscriber or have linked accounts?

I thought the same about the error code when I was researching the issue. I have never been a DirectTV subscriber (new to DirectTV) nor AT&T. The account (email) I used when I created the DirectTV stream account is fairly new.
