“Try Directv streaming” after log in on fire stick

Downloaded app on fire stick. When I log in it just opens a screen with “try directv streaming” on the left and “logout” on the right (with my login id at top). If I click try streaming it just opens a page to buy a plan which I already have and which works fine on other devices. Any ideas on a fix or why it won’t actually log in?

So others have a solution…Directv community agent hooked me up with good support. The issue apparently arose because my AT&T user id and Directv user id were the same email. I don’t know why this is allowed if it’s a problem and it was fine to be like this using my iPhone and iPad…just not the fire sticks. Anyway, Once I changed my Directv ID to another email, deleted and reinstalled the app, and logged back in with the new id the fire stick worked perfect.

My logins are different but I still cannot get DIRECTV stream to work on any Roku or Firestick.  It worked for one week when I got it and now hasn’t worked for over two weeks.  Getting ready to cancel account and get another streaming service.  I have spent hours on the phone with customer service and nothing has been fixed!

I am on the phone with DIRECTV again about this issue.  They said it has been going on since Oct 25th for some accounts and they can’t figure out why.
