Trouble Loading Content
All my other apps work fine but when I open the DTVS and go to a channel I get a blank screen with “looks like we are having trouble Loading content, please try again later.” This only occurs in my Firestick application, not in Apple TV.
Yes, rebooting the Firestick seems to solve the problem, but that is unnecessarily inconvenient! Based on comments in this Forum, the issue is not new. When will DTV get this fixed?

Rarely have issues with Fire Stick or Roku here. Typically clearing the cache and data from the Fire Sticks resolves the issue. As for fixing the issue, what is there to fix. Most users have little issues and we all are using the same app on the same devices. If it was a global issue then we all would be having the issue.

I have had this issue for 3 days now. I had it a couple time before and rebooting my Firestick did not resolve it. It just will all of sudden work but it usually takes a couple days. This is so frustrating and irritating. I have no problem connect with Netflix or Prime so it is only a DirecTV issue and not a connection issue.

No issues with Fire Sticks here. Netflix and Prime are only onDemand content not live content. Total different streaming of content.

I use a fire stick and I'm getting the same annoying message. Every day, it picks a different TV to happen on. For the amount of money Direct TV charges for streaming, I should be able to turn my TV on and watch, not waste 20 minutes trying to get the stupid app to work.

Is your billing info/zip code correct with Dtv stream account?

I use a Dtv stream box, firestick and even a sideloaded android tv box---and have never had this "trouble loading" issue. Been subscribed for 9 months.

I have this, too. Been a subscriber for a year. Just started happening about 3 months ago. Different tv with fire stick randomly. Does not occur on my Roku tv. Wife gets extremely annoyed.

Same issue on both my Toshiba Fire TVs. No boxes just streaming. Happens about once a week and unplugging and replugging the TV to reboot clears the problem, but what a hassle. Wifi signal is strong. What's the deal?

I have had this exact same issue for months now. Its a total hassle to restart the fire stick every single time i watch TV. Yes, i have updated and cleared the cache. I have deleted and reinstalled. UGH.

@Raenoval it’s best to make a new post. Include what streaming devices you have (if you have more than one Fire Stick), if this happens on multiple streaming devices, the upload and download speeds where the Fire Stick is located, the model of the Fire Stick, and if this issue occurs on your mobile device or tablet.

I have 3 Fire Stick 4K's connected to a Samsung TV, a Sony TV and an LG TV, download speeds of about 80 and upload of about 20. This didn't happen for the first year+ that I had DirectTV streaming (when it was AT&T TV) and my speeds were even lower before I got a new router. This problem just started about 6 months ago out of the blue. I'll repeat my message from 5 months ago: For the amount of money Direct TV charges for streaming, I should be able to turn my TV on and watch, not waste time trying to get the app to work. Because it's still happening. Usually when I'm in a hurry to catch the start of a show.
