CW Network is not available as a local channel in all areas. Did you check the Local Channel Lookup on the DirecTV Stream site to see if that channel is offered in your location? Did you used to have that channel?
As noted, they don’t keep the info of which channels (national or local) they offer - like all the live streaming services, they provide a way on their website to find that for your location (and to be honest, I can’t understand someone subscribing to a service without checking that).
They do carry CW stations, but like for all local broadcast channels, they don’t in all locations. This is because for each local station to be carried, they need to make a carriage agreement, and the owners of some local stations demand an unreasonable amount of money to allow carriage - more than they can pay (without raising rates). This same is true for all the live streaming services, though which each carries in each location varies.
This really (Edited per community guidelines) thst I can. It get the CW network and DirecTV will nit respond to my requests asking for this channel. I am booked on Walker but I guess too bad for me??
[Reopened just to add one comment] @JosephSandusky As the smallest of the “major” broadcast networks, the CW is the least carried. I’m sure they are aware of that, so they have their own app that carries a lot content, specifically including their current broadcast shows (like Walker), without requiring a login. I believe they usually have at least the most recent 5 episodes of each series. I’m not sure when they appear on the app - my guess is the day after they air. There appear to be versions of the CW app for all the device types that support the DirecTV app. So that might be a reasonable workaround for you.

You can watch CW content free in the Dtv Stream on demand section. CW app is also free.
Check your live channel lineup here https://www.directv.com/stream/channel-lineup/

Perhaps they were not able to establish a transmission contract with your local CW network. Have you contacted your local CW to inquire?

CW app is free to use. Also, you can find CW programming under the on demand section on Dtv Stream. Under networks--CW
Also, there is a channel lineup by zip code lookup you could have used before signing up for Dtv Stream.
