Thanksgiving weekend free previews

Thanks for the response,  it was NOT like that when we had satellite, I could record a free preview weekend movie and watch it even a month later with no issue. Seems quite ridiculous that the same doesn't apply to streaming.  I won't 'stay tuned for more upcoming free previews' no point.  Sadly disappointed.

Thanksgiving free previews that have ended are Movies Extra Pack, Showtime, and Starz, which have not been playable on your DVR cloud since the free previews ended. If you're subscribed to these channels, this applies to both DIRECTV Satellite and Streaming applications. Jayson, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Because with Dtv Satellite---shows are recorded to a dvr with hard drive. Dtv Stream is in the cloud.

so?  Why should that make a difference? Recorded is recorded

Well, Jayson, specialist, You’re absolutely wrong. While we had satellite anytime we had free movie weekends we recorded several different movies and could watch them months later with no issue whatsoever. Don’t try to tell me I couldn’t because I absolutely did. And I did not subscribe to any of those movie channels at the time, it was a free preview weekend every time I recorded them. Obviously DIRECTV has changed it and you just don’t want to admit it but that’s fine as long as I know I won’t waste my time. 

I told you the reason earlier. If you don't like it--find another service if that is important to you.

Whatever and so not the point. If you read the response from the so called dtv specialist, he said I couldn’t have watched the recorded movies when I had satellite once the preview weekend was over. However we did. Guess neither of you know what you are talking about. Gotta love ‘specialists’.
