TCM is included in the Choice package and above (Ultimate & Premier)

TCM is in Choice, Ultimate, and Premier. So DirecTV does have it. You would only have been mistaken if you are in a package below Choice.
You say you switched to DirecTV, but have posted in DIRECTV STREAM so listed channel lineups for both TV providers to be sure you got the correct reference.
