Streaming unable to start early or extend recording. Cannot search for past shows.

I just switched from Satellite to Streaming service. With Satellite I was able to start a recording early, and extend it up to 3 hours. Now with Streaming I cannot do that simple thing? Please fix this DirecTV!!

Also, with Satellite I was able to select a stations, and then go back in time and watch or record past airings. Why can't I do that with Streaming? Please fix this DirecTV!!
