Sound issues using Roku stick with DIRECT TV Streaming

We will be watching content on DIRECT TV Stream and after a while, the sound will become garbled.  This might happen ten minutes or two hours after we begin watching - the time varies.  However, if he hit the back button (to back it up fifteen seconds or so), the sound corrects and we're able to finish watching our content.  Any idea on what this might be?

Does this happen on some content or all content? Do you have this issue with apps other than directv stream? Have you tried reinstalling/updating the directv stream app and updating your Roku device?

Roku models from before 2021 are known to have audio problems with DirecTV Stream. New models are good.

@BobL3364 I totally agree with your point that old Roku models had sound related issues but new models are working fine.
